Hundreds of hawthorns are starting to grow on the green

Reported via iOS in the Parks/landscapes category anonymously at 20:54, Sunday 30 August 2026

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 10025515.

On the green outside connelly lodge on Berrywood close, there are hundreds off little thorn bushes growing - they are normally kept in check by the regular grass cutting but as this hasn’t happened recently these are growing everywhere. If they’re not managed soon the whole green will become a mass of thorn bush - the biggest ones are around 2 feet tall. These bushes have thorns on around 1 inch long and are starting to spread to the second half of the green too now.
