Poor pothole repair needs rectifying
Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 10154621.
This pothole repair was completed in the last couple of weeks but, as you can see from the photographs, the repair is incomplete and with any poor weather is likely to immediately deteriorate. While the deep hole has been filled, the broken surface hasn’t. The wider surface is also in a terrible condition and is likely to fail over the winter. This site requires a full and professional repair - the contractors have provided a substandard level of workmanship.
This site is on an unlit blind bend and, prior to the ‘repair’, cars had to move into the centre of the road to avoid the pothole. Leaving the repair in this state puts road users at risk as the road surface is almost certain to degrade again very soon.

Investigation: Completed (Defect Found) - We have assessed the location and we can confirm that the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 26 weeks.
