Investigating
Surface deterioration
Reported via desktop in the Pothole / Failed Reinstatement category anonymously at 21:25, Monday 28 September 2026
Sent to West Northamptonshire Council 3 days, 19 hours, 1 minute later. ref: 10165238.
The whole length of this footpath is badly eroded, uneven, has slippery gravel, the edges are encroaching and it is generally dangerous to walk on. This path has regular use by residents, but I have had reports of an elderly man having got stuck trying to use his rollator, I have witness mothers struggling to push prams, one resident tripped and fell on the uneven surface and bashed her face, another tells me he finds it very difficult to use. This is the connector for villagers walking from Cattle End to the centre of the village and for many of those wishing to use the Olney pocket park. It needs to be safe and accessible.
