Flytipping exposed following recent hedge trimming

Council workers recently cut back the bushes and hedges which revealed a significant fly tip incident

Has already been reported to WNC but no action taken

  • I had reported the issue to the council but after no response, I reported it via fix my street. It was only then that the council responded. It's still not been fixed though but my suspicion is that this is down to delaying tactics from the council.

  • Eventually had a message from Veolia. I couldn't stop laughing at their response. " They advised me that as the rubbish was in a "steep" grass Bank, they would need to undertake a health and safety survey first! It is on a bank but it for from steep. I'm 65 with a dodgy knee and I'd be able to do it relatively easily. I think they are just procrastinating in the hope that I give up.
