  • The. Artist being missing is a risk to life. It’s a protection after a bend to guard from vehicles going in to the river or head on to the bridge.

    A plastic barrier was ‘placed’ against the bridge wall but has not gone, possibly fallen in to the river. It was a poor effort, almost embarrassing.

    A 24month lead to provide a permanent fix is unacceptable given the risk to life as a consequence of the barrier not being in place.

  • Plastic fence barrier out in place has blown down - essentially non functional/useless and will not stop a car from striking the end of the bridge wall or driving into the river.

    This is a potential risk to life and further damage to the bridge wall - potentially costing significantly more in the long run than fixing the barrier.
