Bushes frowning out of roundabout
Reported via mobile in the Restricted Visibility / Overgrown / Overhanging category anonymously at 22:50, Tue 23 April 2024
Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 5891534.
There has been wild bushes growing out of this roundabout for over a year.
I reported this as one months ago and was told it would be cleaned up using herbicide.
It looks like nothing has been done.
Forget herbicide the most effective way is to dig them out.
I won’t start with potholes, very embarrassing

Very impressed with the quick response to address this report, 👍
I have attached some photos of the work done. Whilst this will resolve the problem in the short term, as you can see the roots remain and the bush will grow back again. You can also see the damage to the brick work.
Isn’t it better to fix it properly once and for all.
Also I saw your truck there packing up, just up the road 200m away is another roundabout with bushes. Why not clean this up whilst the truck is there and has used fuel to get there.
Whilst I am super impressed I feel I need to be honest.
Thanks for reading this.
