Pothole
Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 5952634.
Cliftonville Road, 2 potholes in the centre of cross junction with Cliftonville, and The Avenue, Northampton. Cars Turning right out of Cliftonville heading down Cliftonville Road, I have noted a car with alloy front wheels scrape the side of these wheels on the side of these potholes as I was passing.

Investigation: Completed (Highways to Monitor, Routine Inspection Programme), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry, the defect has been inspected and doesn’t currently meet the councils’ criteria as an urgent safety defect. We will however raise a pre-emptive defect; this means we aim to carry out these repairs before they become safety defects requiring an urgent response. We plan to undertake this work while carrying out other suitable maintenance in the local vicinity. We will continue to monitor the condition their condition as part of our routine highway inspection schedule. If you notice the defect has worsened, then please inform us via an update to your existing enquiry.
