Road is in very poor condition highly likely due to the high volume of HS2 traffic on this road, it’s a suspension/wheel wrecker

  • Hi All, please can a team look at the entire road system around Culworth, Edgcote, Chipping Warden (Culworth road is especially poor)

I am a biker and unfortunately came off at low speed on the following section of very potholes.

Someone is hoping to be killed soon and there need attending too urgently.

The hedgerows and grass boarders surrounding the rows are also very overgrown and making it narrow and unsafe for all road users.

    Many thanks, Alex

  • Thank you for addressing these issues, the significant number of HS2 trucks, vans and the transportation of very heavy equipment is leading to most of the roads which were already in a state of disrepair, to further erode, crumble and segment.

To be honest all of the country roads around Culworth, Eydon and Chipping Warden need completely resurfacing urgently. Someone e.g. a cyclist or a motorcyclist, are going to get very seriously injured soon or worse.

Is there any news on the hedgerows and verges please?

    Thank you, Alex.
