Long stretch of numerous pot holes/road defects
Reported via mobile in the Potholes / Highway Condition category by Joanne Blaikie at 19:56, Sun 12 May 2024
Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 5963606.
The whole stretch of road between Byfield (especially from The Twistle junction) down to Boddington Reservoir is so full of potholes it is becoming dangerous to drive down it. This is in both directions. I see this stretch was reported in March by someone else, but there is still no improvement. In fact it's getting worse and has been deteriorating rapidly over the past year. There will be an accident one day, as drivers swerve to avoid defects and potholes on both sides and down the centre of the road. As a road with a national speed limit in place, this is just plain dangerous and as I say, an accident waiting to happen. The whole stretch needs resurfacing as there's too much to patch.
