Footpath totally overgrown
Reported via desktop in the Obstruction (Not Vegetation) category anonymously at 11:52, Tuesday 14 May 2024
Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 5971491.
The footpath runs from Station Garage down Station Road towards the Three Bridges. I reported the footpath as severely overgrown over a year ago and was told it would be dealt with within 6 months but the work never happened. This path is regularly used by residents to walk from Buckby Wharf to Long Buckby and vice versa. The lower half of the footpath really no longer exists due to it being so overgrown.

I received an e mail last week saying the work had been completed. The footpath wasn' touched, in fact the hedge alongside the footpath was cut. This wasn't what I asked for. The footpath has totally grown over and needs clearing so that people can walk from Long Buckby to Buckby Wharf.

My update has not changed and there is still no sign of the correct work having been undertaken. Does anyone ever take any notice of these updates?
