Overgrown trees on community centre car park, 1,2,3 Southfields Barn, hamsterly park, NN3 5DT
Reported via desktop anonymously at 07:05, Thu 23 May 2024
Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 6009542.
Trees desperately need pruning as they have become invasive to residents in Southfields Barn No 1,2 & 3 & to the rear of properties no 5, 6 & no 7 Oakpark close to the point these trees are now overhanging into residents gardens & touching residents roofs. Also clearing of leaves every Autumn is becoming too big a job & we all have to constantly keep clearing our gardens of saplings. Also all residents keep having to clear their gutters at our own expense, which is another added cost we can’t afford! 4 out of the 6 residents are elderly and retired.

I would concur with the previous report Ref:6009542, on the invasiveness of large sycamore and lime trees, that are overhanging into the gardens of the properties mentioned. The trees are impeding light into the properties, therefore causing 'loss of amenity', plus the added work and expense of clearing saplings each autumn is a major hassle. Pruning of the trees is desperately needed.
