Potholes in verges outside the community centre

Community are willin g to repair this themselves They feel it is a safety issue as there will be festivities over Christmas in the dark andthese are a trip hazard They have requested this before but have not been replied to Please reply Potholes are getting bigger and worse and are a real danger now THANK YOU

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - We can confirm that the defect has been inspected and doesn’t currently meet the councils’ criteria as an urgent safety defect. We will however raise a pre-emptive defect; this means we aim to carry out these repairs before they become safety defects requiring an urgent response. We plan to undertake this work while carrying out other suitable maintenance in the local vicinity. We will continue to monitor their condition as part of our routine Highways Inspection schedule. If you notice the defect has worsened, then please inform us via an update to your existing enquiry.

  • Resident has advised since pothole first reported, the pot hole has now become larger and deeper near the kerb and is now making it difficult to park outside the community centre, Request please to investigate, thank you

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. We can confirm that we have been made aware of this issue. A works order has been raised which you can follow on FMS-6011729 and add updates. The expected completion date for these works will be 29/05/2025.
