Despite the large trees you never ever clean this road even though I've asked on many occasions over the years. Now last autumn's leaves are mixed with mud and broken tarmac. It's long overdue for a clear up as it's an eyesore and causes trip hazards on the pavement. It also covers the double yellows unless I clear it up. And it flows down the drains eventually filling them. (See my other report on blocked drain.) It needs men with shovels to clear it. A street sweeping machine is unlikely to have the power to lift all the sodden dirt and tarmac.
