Investigating
Footpath disappearing
Reported via mobile in the Restricted Visibility / Overgrown / Overhanging category anonymously at 15:52, Tue 28 May 2024
Sent to West Northamptonshire Council 5 days, 17 hours, 48 minutes later. ref: 6030476.
Strangely, as you walk up Belle Baulke owners of properties on the right hand side seem to disregard the need to maintain their shrubs and hedges. This hedge to the annoyance of many people is now approx 75% across the public footpath. It even covers half the owners driveway, which seems rathe odd it has not been cut back.
It is reaching the point this summer that it will eventually cover almost all the 5/6 feet of footpath.
Property is number 8 Belle Baulke I believe.

I would confirm that since this issue was reported on the 28th May the problem has not been resolved. The hedge is now so overgrown people now need to walk in the road, there is insufficient room for mobility scooters and pushchairs. This issue needs to be resolved ASAP before someone is injured by passing vehicles.
