Safety for Children - Roundabout bushes blocking vision for crossing

Hi there,

There is a crossing on Newport Pagnell road near the roundabout, many children are crossing, the bush is blocking vision to check vehicle movement. This is extremely dangerous for younger children's to cross the road (many student from NHS school during school time). Would be great if this can be trim much further back.

Also if zebra crossing can have crossing lamp/light to warn vehicles in the dark watch out for pedestrian.

  • We have asked our Roundabout Sponsorship Contractor to cut back the vegetation and they have confirmed that they will ask their maintenance contractor to cut back the vegetation. We do not propose any changes to lighting at this time and there is no zebra crossing nearby.
