Requires Complete Road overhaul

Reported via desktop in the Potholes / Highway Condition category by Lorraine Jeynes at 14:56, Tue 11 June 2024

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 6094036.

On Entering Aston le Walls from the A361.The entire road from there to end of Lower Boddington is in a appalling state of repair These are not just potholes ,the road is collapsing in places and has become increasingly dangerous as all drivers have to veer out the way of scattered potholes . This will cause a collision at some point as we are unable to keep to one side of the road or the other So many repairs have resulted in a road which is degrading by the day. We are not a small rural village in the middle of nowhere and the main road running through both villages as you are aware is very busy . The road is unable to take the traffic load it does and is no longer just in need of pothole filling but a complete resurface . This being urgent and not left until October

The Council is continually putting white lines around repairs which do not get done. I am asking on behalf of the village that we have a complete road repair so that we do not have to continue complaining

Aston Le Walls on the left can no longer be driven on as it has had so many repairs

  • This is the eighth email I’m sending regarding the second bridge which now has less Road with side than ever and on top

This has been going on since beginning of last year . Welsh road in between the two bridges and the second bridge are in appalling state and need like the first bridge a complete new road covering and not just the odd potholes . This has become exhausting and damaging to all our vehicles in the community

I do not see how it costs less to send numerous different companies out filling the odd two or three holes once a month

We need a crew over her to ensure all are filled and road basically road worthy in one go

  • This problem has been an ongoing issue since the start of last year ! Now we are getting told it will be done by October, if I remember correctly this was exactly the same wording last year . But here we are today with a dangerous road and bridge . I want this on record as all the cars I see swerve the horrendous amount of road decay And o guarantee there will be an accident at some point ! This is a busy road made worse by HS2 whom are supported by the Council We have a lot of Farms and a Equestrian Centre which is is busy throughout the Summer Months

The road will with our a doubt be unusable at some point . And it seems to me no matter how many people put issues on this site nothing gets done ! So why ask me if it is
