2 x Blocked Drains Chipsey Ave
Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 6095007.
I reported one drain previously and they came today to clear it. They cleared a drain that was in the pavement under a tree (that I hadn't previously spotted) but completely missed the one on the right side of the road (boys' school side) I had reported, because a) it was camouflaged by grass (see 2 x photos) and b) they parked their vehicle over it. There is also another drain on the left hand side of the road just before Rushmere Ave that requires unblocking. see photo. To summarise - there are two more drains, one on either side of the road opposite each other, that need unblocking.
If you would only sweep the road of leaves in Autumn/Winter the drains would not get blocked.

This work will involve cleaning out and jetting the gully. We will endeavour to complete it as quickly as possible. You will receive further updates once it has been completed.
