Over grown trees falling branches

Reported via desktop in the Restricted Visibility / Overgrown / Overhanging category anonymously at 14:16, Monday 17 June 2024

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 6117701.

Hello there. I'm getting intouch as I live on 4 The Stour on the Grange Estate. We are actually situated on the main road around the Estate which is actually called Thyne Road. I have lived here 27 years and have enjoyed having the trees outside our home but now they are getting way to big. They are blocking sunlight, their branches are over hanging the rows wifi cables causing really big problems and loss off signal now which in this world we now live we cannot do without especially signals for our phones. Branches have fallen and in fact a big one fell on our van windscreen resulting in a cracked windscreen still to be fixed. The top branches are over hanging our front garden now and I'm classed as disabled and the wet leaves caused me injury last October. It would be really good it they could be cut back and properly tended to as it is becoming dangerous and creating problems in everyday life now. I need a good phone signal incase I have to call for help of which I don't have after trying numerous providers and this makes me very anxious when I'm on my own. And after speaking to several neighbours it turns out we all feel the same and think now its time to get something done before someone gets hurt or there is an accident. I would appreciate a swift response to this as I will go down other avenues if need. Kind regards Mrs Rebecca Bates
