This is Cllr. Bagor-Webb - WNC Cabinet Assitant for Highways & HS2 - The issue is directly outside 14 Radstone road and needs urgent attention. It is making it extremely dangerous for the residents of 14, 16, 18 and 20 Radstone Road to exit their properties with bushes growing across the pavement directly outside 14 Radstone Road. This is also now made worse by vehicles cutting the corner due to overgrown bushes restricting visability on the oposite side of the road to 14 Radstone road. This is now an incident waiting to happen and when it does it will become the second serious incident in 2024 as a vehcile overturned directly adjacent to these bushes a few months ago.

One hedge has been cut, the problem is all along the road. For one section of pavement you now HAVE to walk in the road.
Speak to Tony he is fully aware of the ongoing issues.

This issue has not been fixed - the over-grown problem exists on the Wordsworth and John Clare Pinch-points plus the pavement between the two said pinch-points. Low hanging trees are dangerous to the eyes and faces of pedestrians. Finally, the under-grown has encroached on the pavement seriously restricting pedestrians walking with young children and vulnerable persons.

Investigation: Completed (Work Completed) - We have inspected on 19th June, which shows that the hedge has been cut back away from the footway and this has left over 1.2 metres for pedestrian use.
