Who actually investigated this?

Reported via desktop in the Restricted Visibility / Overgrown / Overhanging category anonymously at 20:10, Tue 18 June 2024

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 6124509.

This attitude reflects the arrogant attitude of the council. To ensure the safety of our residents it is imperative that this area of verge is mown NOW. I doubt anyone has seen the problem, did anyone even look at the photos? You say it will be mown in the next month. As this was promised several weeks ago to which month are you referring?

  • Investigation: Completed (Routine Planned Maintenance), Defect Repair: Rejected - Our routine mowing programme ensures every area of the county is mowed. We prioritise main roads and junctions first and foremost. This area should be completed on the mowing programme by the end of July latest. The mowing programme can change depending on resource and reactive works but we prioritise safety concerns first and foremost. We hope this has clarified your concerns.

  • WNC will not accept that this should be a priority for verge cutting, so they are putting peoples lives at risk. This will not be sent to them but anyone who reads it will see they do not care for anything that is any distance from Daventry, is rural, and comes under the old SNC.
