All trees/bushes overhanging on Wootton Hope Drive

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 6158462.

All bushes are overhanging along Wootton Hope Drive - dangerous to dogs and small children with many overhanging bushes and sharp brambles - eye height. Kerbs are sprouting weeds and look unsightly.

  • Investigation: Ongoing - We will be contacting relevant householders to cut back vegetation growing into the highway

  • This has been an ongoing issue since last year which was reported and supposedly the relevant persons/authorities informed. It is the complete length of conifers ( approx 15m) that are now severely obstructing the footpath.

  • Investigation: Ongoing (Reported to a third party) - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that the vegetation is the responsibility of the landowner. In accordance with the WNC Network Management Plan, we will contact the landowner and request they cut back their vegetation within 14 days of receipt of our correspondence. We will reinspect the vegetation to ensure they have complied.
