OVERGROWN RIGHT OF WAY (footpath EC7)

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 6159165.

Very overgrown right of way which makes it difficult to walk down forcing walker into fence that is topped with bared wire Vegetation was cut down last year but has regrown to an unacceptable level again

  • This bridleway needs further investigation the landowner has erect a fence line not in accordance with current guideline of 2-3 meters this makes it impossible for this part of the bridleway to be access by cyclist or horse riders and that the stiles install are of the wrong type also to allow proper access

  • Investigation: Ongoing - Thank you for further comments of 2nd July. This is a public footpath and not a public bridleway and does not require a width of 2 - 3 metres we have contacted the landowner to clear the vegetation.

  • Having reported this 1 month ago, the footpath is still obstructed. No clearance work has been done. Urgent action needs to be taken
