Overgrown vegetation on roundabout
Reported via desktop in the Restricted Visibility category anonymously at 15:43, Thu 27 June 2024
Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 6163484.
The overgrown vegetation on the roundabout restricts visibility to the left, Crossings from Monksmoor to Langfarm. It is dangerous as vehicles can’t be seen until they are already on the roundabout going straight on towards Welton. Some vehicles speed and this could potentially cause a serious accident. Please investigate

Roundabout on Welton Lane is slightly elevated and the bushes have and trees are too high as well. This is not a big roundabout and lack of visibility on what is happening on the roundabout is very difficult. You cannot see anything coming until it is on top of you. This is a very dangerous situation. There is a bus stop on Marston Way and crossing from Abbotsbury to bus stop. This services school children and there is no visibility for safe crossing. Cannot see cars coming. Think inspectors missed the danger. Please inspect on both sides of roundabout. One side in more restricted than the other on Welton Way cannot see what is coming from left hand side.
