Overgrown Vegetation

The path from Yardley to Brayfield is overgrown. This is unpassable for anyone in a wheelchair or with a buggy and those users are forced to use the road.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - We have raised a works order to repair the defects that you have reported. These works will be undertaken within the next 26 weeks. On most occasions we are repairing defects of this nature sooner than this target date, however please do not hesitate to contact us should the defects worsen so that our team can carry out a further assessment, attaching a photograph if possible and safe to do so.

  • The hedges are overgrown again and need to be cut back to the curtlidge fully as they continue to grow and obstruct the part

  • Investigation: Completed (Highways to Monitor, Routine Inspection Programme), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location, and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the vegetation at this location is not currently meet the intervention criteria. We will continue to monitor the vegetation as part of our routine highway inspection schedule. Should you notice this issue worsening, please inform us by raising a new Fixmystreet enquiry.
