The pavement for the entire cul de sac is uneven and dangerous for the elderly and wheelchair user.

The pavement is in a dangerous state particularly for the elderly and wheelchair user. It is generally in a bad state but at the top of the cul de sac the refuse collection vans are partially responsible for the damage/dips due to the way they drive on the pavement. The turning point at the top of the cul de sac is too small for the heavy Veolia lorries and they mount the pavement. The council have told them to reverse into High View but frequently they don’t! I hope they and not the taxpayer pick up some of the tab for the damage they have caused!

Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - We can confirm that the footpath will be repaired within the next 28 days. in regard to the carriageway there are currently no defects that meet our investigatory criteria for repair. These levels have been agreed with West Northamptonshire Council. We will continue to monitor the defect via our routine highway safety inspections.
