Stretch of trees and bushes/ hedges overgrown

Reported via mobile in the Restricted Visibility / Overgrown / Overhanging category anonymously at 17:19, Mon 1 July 2024

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 6178109.

The stretch of trees/ bushes along this part of the high street up to the next turning are really overgrown and hanging across the footpath making it difficult to walk through. It is becoming dangerous to footpath users, for the blind or visually impaired and for all users of the path, as the bushes have grown out and are covering part of the pathway. Some bushes are so overgrown they have turned into trees, and The trees need topping as they are all overhanging into the path and headway space for footpath users.

  • Update with photo added. This is a wide footpath that has been reduced to one person wide for a lot of the stretch as the weeds, bushes and trees have grown outwards and upwards without maintenance.
