  • I'm almost lost for words really.

The original 6186195 report highlighted that double yellow lines were mixed with the zebra crossing zig-zag lines making a difficult to see zebra crossing even more difficult to see. Many vehicles don't stop for pedestrians at this crossing.

After a 4 month wait new double yellow lines have been repainted OVER the zebra crossing zig-zag lines.

It is an offence to park on zig-zag lines so why cover them with double yellows ?

Report 6186195 hasn't been fixed, it has actually been made worse.

Even if those involved aren't qualified highways engineers, common sense would surely prevail.
