Significant number of deep pot holes

Reported via mobile in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 19:55, Tue 9 July 2024

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 6210609.

There are numerous pot holes along this well used lane to the primary school. As a governor I have noticed these getting worse over several months. They are now deep and dangerous. They cannot easily be avoided due to the narrow road.

  • I've just had notification that the road has been assessed and that repairs could take up to 26 weeks to be completed! Given that this is a single track road and the only road in/out serving a school, a number of residential properties and a church, could consideration be given to upgrading the classification? The fact that it is a single track road means that the potholes are virtually impossible to avoid.
