Tree blocking light from property

Reported via mobile in the Restricted Visibility / Overgrown / Overhanging category anonymously at 18:16, Wednesday 10 July 2024

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 6215098.

This tree is huge. It is opposite my house. It worries me that in windy conditions it will fall onto my house. It is also blocking light from our windows. We are trying to sell our house and the potential buyers loved the house but complained that the tree made the rooms too dark, which they are right it does.it has grown vastly in the 7 years we have lived here and we have not seen any maintenance done on it. I feel it needs reducing in height and the branches trimming back. It over hangs the road by a lot. Please can something be done. Thank you.
