Trees along Manot Road need maintaining

Reported via mobile in the Restricted Visibility / Overgrown / Overhanging category anonymously at 18:39, Wed 10 July 2024

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 6215168.

The lime trees along Manor Road need maintaining, this is a hot topic in the village. Nobody is saying they need cutting down they need to be maintained. They are growing out of control and will get to a point where they will be so difficult to cut. They are all growing into one, overhang the roads and properties and falling branches fall all the time into the road and onto houses. These used to be trimmed every couple of years and now are not touched and haven’t been touched for several years. It is all very well having TPOs on trees but they still need to be maintained. I would also like to understand what came of the tree survey which was sent out asking for peoples opinions.

  • This is not correct they do not belong to the estate. I wish someone would get their facts right before sending responses like this. They do belong to the council so I would appreciate that someone looks at this properly and takes some action. Not sure the council knows what is going on with a response like this.
