Dangerous Bend

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 6217195.

When approaching this blind bend from Old, if someone is turning right to Walgrave Lodge, they are round the bend and you cannot not see them due to the tall hedge, you would not have enough time to stop before you hit them from behind. Also so many people cut the corner coming from the Red Lodge direction. perhaps the signage could be improved.

  • I had a situation this morning where I was heading away from Old and at the sharp bend I was behind two stationary cars, the front one was turning right towards Walgrave Lodge. I felt in danger as if there had been another car heading from Old they would not have see us around the blind corner. Perhaps something could be done with the tall hedge on the left approaching the bend to increase visibility.
