Weeds covering footpath

The weeds are now covering most of this footpath. It all looks very uncared for and residents have started fly-tipping in this small stretch of greenery. I haven't reported the fly-tipping yet as I feel the weeds need addressing first. I did clear all visible bottles and cans. Can the weeds get cut back or removed please?

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 3 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 28 days. Our current average response time for a Priority 3 repair is 3.2 days.
