Drains on corner of Brook Street take a long time to drain water.

The two drains on the corner of Brook Street seem to have a blockage as they are taking a long time drain the water away. Puddles often form on the corner as water runs fast down Weston Hill when it rains. Also there is a spring halfway up Weston Hill which is adding to the issue.

A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the flooding has been assessed and requires a Priority 3 response. We will schedule drainage investigation work to be completed within 28 days. When the investigation has been completed, we will inform you of our findings and course of action. Our current average response time for a Priority 3 is 9.2 days.
