Severe surface issues

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 6237709.

The road within the close is horrendous and is in desperate need of resurfacing. Cars are skidding on the surface, stones are flicking up from the road and the debris from the road is encroaching onto the pathways. The road is a little unusual and has a sectioned area for some reason- this is the area that has deteriorated hugely. The average age of people in the close is approximately 70 somebody is going to fall and hurt there self soon because of the condition of the road.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 26 weeks. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 repair is 37.3 days.
