Noise pollution from speeding lorries over potholes

Reported via desktop in the Potholes / Highway Condition category by Gill Smith at 15:30, Thu 18 July 2024

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 6246602.

These potholes have been reported but the crashing noise made by lorries going over them is no longer bearable. We cannot open our doors or windows in nice weather. We would like to ask for a temporary speed reduction on this road until it can be resurfaced. Empty lorries are especially bad as they appear to bounce over the potholes with excessive crashing that we can hear recurring on other potholes all down the road.
