Obscured lighting and dangerous tree
Reported via desktop in the Restricted Visibility / Overgrown / Overhanging category anonymously at 16:18, Thu 18 July 2024
Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 6246831.
The alleyway is continually overgrown (local residents have made it just about passable recently). The bushes block the streetlight and the sunlight. A large tree has become unbalanced & is now growing at a dangerous angle with its roots making the path uneven. The pathway is dangerous to use. There has been no maintenance for a number of years and nobody is willing to take responsibility.

Bushes around light cut back promptly - impressed by quick action. However, the overgrowth everywhere else prevents the path being adequately lit, only the small area directly below the light is illuminated. The huge, leaning tree continues to grow, unchecked and unbalanced.
