Thank you for your enquiry. We can advise that a highway improvement scheme has recently been carried out to further highlight the hazard of the bend to vehicles approaching from both directions. This included the installation of new bend warning signs with an 'advisory' 30mph maximum speed limit as well as black & white chevrons on the bend. Additional to this, we arranged for detritus to be cleared from the carriageway and remedial works to the grass verge behind the kerbing. With reference to your request for 'keep left' arrows, we are not permitted to provide them at this location as there specific requirements on their use which would not meet the criteria in this scenario.

State changed to: No further action
