Vegetation
Reported via desktop in the Restricted Visibility / Overgrown / Overhanging category anonymously at 08:14, Sat 20 July 2024
Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 6252239.
This was reported last year and the area was cut back. Unfortunately it needs to be dug out and regrassed to prevent annual occurance. The vegetation is poisonous to dogs and is encroaching on 11 Jones Close by roots going under the fence. As you try to drive out of Jones Close the view is blocked to the right. This area needs some work on it to bring it back to the grass verge that it used to be.

The area of growth is getting bigger and I noticed the same vegitation is now growing further down the fence (this area looks like a lot of vegetation which should not be there. There should be a clear sight when coming out of the junction. Originally this was all a grassed area

All that happened is the area has been cut to ground level. As I mentioned before it needs to be dug out and seeded to get back to a grass verge. If this is not done I can see I shall be reporting it every year. Please contact your groundsmen and see what they have to say about clearing it properly.

I would like confirmation that the offending shrub was actually dug out and not just cut down as this is recurring every year.

The bush with the name of the road has been trimmed but the vegetation i.e. 2 rogue apple tree/buyshes have not been removed so vision is still obstructed when leaving the road to join Humphries Drive.

There are still tree stumps within the grassed area and the 2 apple trees have only been cut back not removed for a clearer vision when exiting Jones Close which is not a very safe road to leave at best of times due to fast traffic coming down the hill and cars parked opposite the road. I would be happy to attend a meeting on site to show what I mean. I am hoping that the rogue bushes do not spring up again this year otherwise this could be ongoing year after year. When the stumps are removed the mowing of the are will be easier and not an obstacle course for those who job it is. I look forward to hearing back from you with regards my comments.
