Investigating
Footpath in Tiffield road along by Tesco
Reported via mobile in the Restricted Visibility / Overgrown / Overhanging category anonymously at 19:02, Sat 20 July 2024
Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 6254234.
The shrubs and trees have grown across the public footpath. In the event pedestrians are crossing each other one has to step in the road.
As everyone is aware traffic races up the road from the A5 junction, therefore a risk of an accident.
Would it not be of benefit to grass approx 3/4 feet of the shrubbery, very much as you did at the junction with the A5. This would save future costs of maintenance every six months to clear the footpath to Tesco and B&M.

It's getting ridiculously unsafe. Trying to cross the road between tescos and B&M is overdue to have an accident. We tried to cross earlier with 4 children under 4 and we had to jump back to the footpath several times from accelerating cars. This needs a sleeping policeman in addition to the hedges being cut.
