Weeds outside our house seem to not be strimmed any longer. Its unsightly and a fire/ vermin risk

We have lived here 8 years and seen a decline in attendance to the land to the left of our house. It is unsightly and both a vermin and fire risk. We ask that its either addressed and taken care of on a calander or if this is impossible We would be happy to take control and maintaince of the land if hranted to us. But it's present state is really not acceptable
