I have reported trees under reference 6238223 that require work to them as they are overhanging the road. These trees are subject to a TPO DA/487 2016. In response you have stated "We can confirm that we are currently investigating land ownership." In response to this I attach copies of the original TPO dated 05.10.2016 which was confirmed on 16.02.17. You will see that in paragraph 4 it states "The trees are on land that belongs to Northamptonshire Highways". I believe this information answers the question of whose land the trees are on as presumably research was done and ownership confirmed when the TPO was applied. Michael Venton's name is on the paperwork and I believe he still works in the relevant department. I trust this information will enable the necessary work to be carried out on the trees ASAP to avoid any possible damage to passing vehicles.
