Reported via desktop in the Potholes / Highway Condition category by Gill Smith at 09:47, Tue 13 August 2024
Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 6349104.
The problem is not the size of the pothole but there are two areas outside my gate where the level changes following a previous repair. When lorries go over them, particularly when empty or fast, it is causing extremely loud banging and clattering noise, to the point that when I'm in the garden or the house windows are open I get bad headaches and at night I'm unable to sleep. I would be happy to send a recording of the noise, or, if someone comes here, to meet them so they can understand the problem.
