Sent to West Northamptonshire Council 3 hours, 36 minutes later. ref: 6350190.

There is a public foot path between houses 33 and 35 Bridge Meadow, Denton and the A428, Bedford Road. Denton. It has a piece of land that is not maintained and needs cutting back. Houses number 33 and 35 also need to cut back their overhanging foliage.

  • Investigation: Ongoing (Reported to a third party) - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that the vegetation is the responsibility of the landowner. In accordance with the WNC Network Management Plan, we will contact the landowner and request they cut back their vegetation within 14 days of receipt of our correspondence. We will reinspect the vegetation to ensure they have complied.

  • 33 Bridge Meadow cut back the bushes they are responsible for in August 2024. Nothing else has been done with regards to this. Please action the rest of the bushes/trees being cut back & also the public footpath needs clearing to make it safe for people to walk down without slipping over on the foilage/leaves.

  • Investigation: Completed (Highways to Monitor, Routine Inspection Programme) - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location, and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the vegetation at this location is not currently meet the intervention criteria. We will continue to monitor the vegetation as part of our routine highway inspection schedule. Should you notice this issue worsening, please inform us by raising a new Fixmystreet enquiry.
