Overgrowth into my garden

Reported via mobile in the Overgrown Private Vegetation category anonymously at 20:08, Tue 13 August 2024

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 6352697.

The trees and bushes on Hedgley Court are constantly overflowing into my garden. The tree is growing over into my garden, the leaves cover it in autumn and it blocking natural sunlight as it is so big. The bushes are prickly and cause scratches if you get caught on one which is not good as we have a child and can’t use the alley to my back gate due to this

  • Investigation: Cancelled (No Action Necessary) - Good morning, we apologise for failing to reply sooner. Unfortunately, following a land investigation with WNC we have found this to be outside of our power to enforce as this does not affect a public highway making this a private issue. We can however confirm that the overgrown vegetation belongs to Water Meadow Homes and would recommend contacting them to resolve this.
