Vehicle stop bollard at site of pedestrian crossing hole in footpath where it used to be in the ground
Reported via desktop in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 12:33, Sunday 18 August 2024
Sent to West Northamptonshire Council 19 hours, 18 minutes later. ref: 6370002.
Trip hazard over 6 inches deep round hole at pelican crossing on site of racecourse opposite the Conservative club 78 St. Georges Ave, Northampton NN2 6JF. The hole is where a wooden post has once been at the crossing. Not a clever idea to leave when the Balloon Festival event happened.

Highways indicated not their problem when trying to report this. Is there a human dealing with this report? Is it Artificial intelligence? Tomorrow it might be passed back to footway. How simple can this be? Place a cone or temperary cover so ankles are not twisted and broken or perhaps a person can fall headfirst into the road and have their head crushed? Have pride with positive actions.
