Missing dropped kerb at entry/exit to Beckets Park

Reported via desktop in the Obstruction (Not Vegetation) category anonymously at 18:19, Monday 26 August 2024

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 6400009.

There is no dropped kerb at the entry/.exit to Beckets Park. Although there is one a little distance away it is unsafe and unusable by disabled recumbent cyclists. As such the layout prevents disabled cyclists from accessing this area (which is signposted a part the National Cycle Network). It therefore discriminates against disabled cyclists as it is almost impossible to access the existing dropped kerb using a recumbent cycle from Bedford road and having to perform a U turn for entry into the park. Equally existing the park it is not possible to perform the tight right turn to access the dropped kerb forcing such cyclist and wheelchairs/scooters to drop of the non dropped kerb
