A danger to all road users, the potholes require urgent repair. The top of Chapel Lane requires proper resurfacing as existing pothole repairs are already failing.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 26 weeks. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 repair is 38.9 days.

    There has been no repair work carried out in this location to date. The road condition has worsened further with new potholes appearing. Remedial works are now required asap on this unlit stretch of road with no footpaths. The road condition here is a danger to all road users including cyclist, horse riders and the many dog walkers.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Scheduled - Thank you for your enquiry. As per our previous update, we can confirm that this area met the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. That means that a repair will be completed within 26 weeks. Our current date for repairs is November 19th 2024.
