  • 28 days have elapsed since you told me on the 5th September that our roadside grass verge would probably be mowed/strimmed within 38 days. It is now 29th October and it (along with many other roadside verges in Helmdon) has not been cut. This lovely village is starting to look very shabby because of the long grass which - as these strips of land belong to West Northants Council - is not our responsibility. Please address the problem. Thank you. Caroline King, 28 Church Street, Helmdon NN13 5Q.
