All signs at Welford Lay-by have been stolen or removed by illegally parked overnight vehicles. We would appreciate their reinstatement. Is it possible to fix them to the poles with fixings that go through the pole to prevent them being removed again. This will be the third time they’ve been removed.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 26 weeks. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 repair is 38 days.
