Trees outside my property along Highlands Avenue

The trees outside my property on the grass verge, are starting encroach/overhang into my back garden. I have not long moved in, and I know the previous owners had had to try and cut back some of the branches themselves. I do not have the facility to do this and feel that as the trees are not my responsibility, they should be maintained by yourselves. I know the previous owners have reported the trees to the council, the last month or so. Please send someone out to arrange cutting back of these trees. Thank you.
